Violent Femmes Self Titled Reissued in Deluxe Editions
As many of you are aware Violent Femmes have been touring their 40th year Anniversary this year, earlier putting out a picture disc re issue of the Self Titled. As of now it appears the Femmes are doing a re release of their 20th Anniversary Deluxe album, though this time on Vinyl & CD. The Vinyl Option is a 4 LP Box Set that includes The original Album remastered, Unreleased Demos, Live Tacks, Repress of the 7″ Ugly Single and a book! The Second option contains the remaster, demos, and live tracks in a 2 CD Pack excluding the 7″ Ugly single. I would suggest pre ordering the first option ASAP As the Self-Titled I’m sure will sell out quickly. The Album is set to ship in the first part of February 2024

Self Titled Now Available on Picture Disc
So As you may have already heard, it’s been 40 years since the Femmes dropped their debut self titled record. In celebration they have reissued the album for the first time on Picture Disc. This re-Issue is exclusive to Record Store Day. There is a total count of 6000 worldwide pressed (3,125 In the U.S), They will also be doing a Tour throughout The U.S. next month in May, so if you have the chance, get your tickets!

Why Do Birds Sing? 30th Anniversary Repress
It’s been 30 years since the Femmes dropped their “Why do Birds Sing?” Album; an era that left original Drummer DeLorenzo behind. In Celebration of the event they have teamed up with their “Go-To” Craft Recordings to bring us a Remastered Deluxe Edition 2 CD set & Vinyl Repress. Though before opting “only” for the Vinyl, the 2 CD set includes previously unreleased tracks, Early versions as well as live versions recorded at the Boat House In Norfolk, VA Show in 1991. The Vinyl will be limited to 750 copies in Translucent Red only available on Craft or Femmes Official Store. A Limited Smoke colored will be available at Select Indie Record stores. The tentative Street date for the Release is 10/08/2021

Add It Up Reissue
Violent Femmes have decided to Reissue Their Greatest Hits Album “Add It UP”, this is the first time the album has been pressed since it’s release in 1993. It will come in the 2LP With Gatefold Standard, and include 4 Varieties. Standard Black, an “Indie” Aqua Blue; limited to Indie Record Shops, Violet; exclusively sold by Urban Outfitters, and an extremely Limited “Blister Red Marble” limited to 500 Copies (Already Sold Out) brought to us once again from “Craft” Recordings. The Album is available for Pre-Order from Craft, Violent Femmes Official, Amazon, and various Indie Record Shops Online, it Will be released on May 21, 2021

New & Improved Violent Femmes Records!!!
Welcome to the new and improved ViolentFemmesRecords now redirected to Violent-Femmes.Com! ViolentFemmesRecords has been online for more than 20 years! In celebration of its tenure, I have given the site a complete overhaul! The Discography was given a thorough inspection ensuring no release was missed. The Articles and Interviews section contains 5X the data previously, and Lyrics to all officially released tracks has been added. In addition, nearly 10 years of The American Music Mailing List Issues were added. If that wasn’t enough to shake a stick at, the UI has been revamped for modern stylings, easy navigation, and responsiveness for all you mobile viewers! The site is now possibly the largest Violent Femmes Repository on the internet!!
