I went to FAU box office twice trying to find out anything about the concert. I showed them a print out of Academic calendar and everything, but nobody had a clue. I will try to find out more about the concert from my friends at FAU. I will let you all know if I discover anything. So far I know it's in FAU auditorium at 7:00 on Nov, 10th. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RE: VF Videos ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In a message dated 10/3/97 1:18:38 PM, you wrote: <> also the "held her in my arms" from "add it up" "children of the Revolution"(I've only seen a second or two of it.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RE: Musical Tastes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ in response to musical tastes: I can honestly say that i have no prejudice to any kind of music (except maybe hardcore gangster rap). Anyone that truly loves music knows that no 2 types can ever be compared because they're completely different. Right now in my CD player is the John Lennon Collection, the Mad Love Soundtrack(mostly punk alternative), VF add it up, The Beatles CD1 of the Blue, and Less than Jake (SKA). Just thought I'd add my 2 cents.C-YA Liz ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My Car Hates the Violent Femmes! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Damnit! I drove to Pittsburgh this weekend and now my car, Blue, is not happy. I don't know what is wrong, but I hope it can be fixed before Thursday because I really was getting excited about East Stroudsburg. He just *has* to be fixed in time. As an interesting story, I have decided Blue hates to see the Femmes in PA. A year ago, I bought tickets for the show in my hometown of Indiana PA and left them with my Indiana friends when I drove back to school so they could use them if I didn't make it back. It was a good thing I did, because I had trouble on the drive down and my car was in the shop when the concert rolled around the next weekend. How upsetting!! If the show had been one weekend earlier I would have been home on Thanksgiving break; one weekend later, and I would have been home on winter break! Then, I also had problems this spring going to the Lycoming College show. I drove to Penn-State to pick up my friend Kate, and we ended up taking her vehicle the rest of the way because Blue was sick again. And now this. It's always the fuel filter, and replacing it has always made him feel good again, but this time it didn't do the trick even though he was experiencing the classic symmptoms. I just don't know. Until later, love-amber ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Is It Safe to Go Out? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HI everyone. I'm planning on going to the Lisle show on thursday (if I can get the tix!) and well, I was just wondering if anyone knows what it'll be like? it seems to me like the VF shows are getting more violent as the days go by. that one show had like 10 fights. I'm really excited, my first show whas the FT. Wayne one, a 4 hour drive. Lisle is only like an hour for me. well, I gotta get going -L8r all- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ROCK! an Import? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Why does everyone keep saying that "ROCK" is an import?? I bought it at my local record store the week it came out and it was made right here the the US?? I live really close to S.F. and I see it there now and then too???????? - -Pat. says: I looked at the liner notes, and it says that the CD was recorded and mastered in the US, but Liberation Records is an Australian company. So it was in fact made here, but Liberation in Australia put it out. I had to order it as an import. You are very lucky to live near SF, the home of all those great CD stores. The rest of us outside of Australia had or are having a very hard time finding ROCK!!!!!, and at a decent price. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
