They were by far my favorite band along with Grateful Dead and Talking Heads. I've grown alot since that first show and have seen and listened to alot of music since. My tastes and interests in music have expnaded to the blues, jazz, country, rap, classical, cubano...and on and on and on. So its not that we don't care anymore, its just that we have a lot of others things to care about as well. I saw the femmes in June of 2000 and they were just as good as ever and I'm looking more forward than ever to see them again this June 30th in Austin.
