As opposed to sitting like a bump on a log staring at the stage. I watch the band on the stage and listen to the music, then I absorb it all into my mind and body. If the music is loud and crazy, then I tend to become loud and crazy. Maybe Tori and I have a different view on concerts but I go to them not just to watch, but rather to be a part of them. To rearrange part of your messege: I feel that if you want to ignore the emotions of the music and concentrate on staring intently at someone else participating, do it watching a video or listening to a live album.
