Says: Anyone wanting to use this wonderful tab page should be aware that when you click on a song it starts to download the tab rather than showing it on the screen. Wes is working on fixing this problem. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Salisbury Show ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just wanted to tell anybody thinking about going to that Salisbury State VF show, that I called over there and it is only for Salisbury State College student unless you go in as a guest. I wanted to go but I am just a high school kid. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Atlanta Info Needed ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't know if anyone there knows this, but what time do the Femmes take the stage in Atlanta, GA, on May 3rd? This information would be extremely beneficial to me. Thank you for your time. -Pat. Says: http://www.musicmidtown.com does not have a schedule listed yet. Would somebody see if he or she can find out something? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Brief Fargo Review ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ the concert was so good! - ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RE: UWSP Show ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am going to have to disagree with Tori writing: >Frankly, I go to concerts to SEE the band live as well as hear them. >I know many don't agree with me, but I feel if you want to ignore >the band and just concentrate on body slamming and passing, do it at a >club or somewhere to recorded music. If you're not going to pay >attention to the band, why come? Part of the experience of going to concerts is participating. I prefer to dance, sing, and do whatever the music makes me feel like doing. As opposed to sitting like a bump on a log staring at the stage. I watch the band on the stage and listen to the music, then I absorb it all into my mind and body. If the music is loud and crazy, then I tend to become loud and crazy. Maybe Tori and I have a different view on concerts but I go to them not just to watch, but rather to be a part of them. To rearrange part of your messege: I feel that if you want to ignore the emotions of the music and concentrate on staring intently at someone else participating, do it watching a video or listening to a live album. If you are not going to pay attention to moods and feelings of the music, why come? 1djek3 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RE: UWSP Show ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ i was also at the UWSP show. it was just awesome, i agree with the other people who wrote. i also agree that the crowd got a little wild at times. we were in the second row, right in the middle and the mosh pit was right behind us. there was this guy, he had to be 40, who sparked up a joint as soon as the femmes started playing their first song and then for the entire concert he just stood in one spot and punched everyone around him. slightly strange. i don't have a problem with wild fans...if you want to be up front you have to deal with it... but some people (like this guy) are a little out of control =) that's ok, nothing could ruin a femmes experience for me! oh yeah, one more thing, they played "freak magnet." it was way cool but i was the only one around me who knew what it was. --jaci ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Charlotte..RE: Interscope ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Goodness Gracious! Great Balls of Fire.... Mr. Jerry Lee Lewis is opening for our boys on Friday night in Charlotte NC! Can VF follow pyrotechnics? Hmmmm........ I'm still hoping Chadbourne makes a surprise appearance (like last year) Everyone keep your fingers crossed!! Want more info - go here... http://centercityfest.com/frccity.html Hey Jesse I've lost your address! Are you still going?????? Well I'm trying to stay positive but in the light of the new one liner on the official page I'm pretty down. What the *&%$?!!! Can someone please tell us what is going on with the album. And why does MSO have a press release from Nov 1997 as it's most recent info!!!! Damn Damn Damn... On the upside - excellent new photo on the home page!!! VERY coooooool... -ddearry -Pat. Says: I like that pic too. Looks like a promo. Hope to see it on an album soon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RE: Interscope ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ >Just remember that the Femmes are actually putting out a new album. >Isn't that enough to keep us happy? Huh? Did I miss something?? Last I heard here on the list was that since Interscope (may they suffer the eternal torment of the damned) had dropped them, the album wasn't being released?? If someone knows differently, do tell!! Details!! bec -Pat. Says: There's been talk that they may try to find a new label, or release it themselves. But I don't think anyone knows for sure what will happen with it. Let's keep our fingers crossed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Settle Down ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WHOA WHOA WHOA. Mail bomb??? Hate mail??? You people frighten me. I suggested a letter-writing campaign. I did NOT suggest that we either become the next Teddy Kuczenski or become the next ass of the month. Thank you very much for the address and phone number, moongirl. Sheesh, y'all, take a valium. Claire, just setting the record straight. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
