Bad BITS on TV ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You Tell Me That It's Evolution ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Evolution is a good thing..and this letter should always be ready to change for the better. Thanks to a suggestion from I have decided to post the complete TourDates and Who/Where WEEKLY, on Mondays. On Wednesdays and Fridays I will only post new concert dates and those who/wheres which occur on or before the next Monday. I wasn't going to post any at all on Wed. and Fri., but then someone wrote in to be put on the who/where for the Apr. 4 show, and I realized some people might find midweek that they can make a show after all, and they should have the chance to meet people via the who/where. This should clear out a bit of the clutter so you can get to the chatter. Thanks also to the many other people who have written in about this. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Marquette Info ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ the show at nmu in marquette starts at 8(eastern time) and tickets are $11.50 for students and $13.50 for nonstudents. Keri -Pat. Says: This info will appear in Monday's issue. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Salisbury Unofficially Official ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just got this email from someone at Salisbury State: <> I can tell you a little bit. May 2 and 3 is Gullipalooza at Salisbury State, and Pollstar lists the May 2 VF show as definite. They just have to 'officialize' things at Salisbury. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Extra Elkhart Ticket ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hey! I've got an xtra ticket for the show in Elkhart, Indiana. It's a small venue, so it should be a great show!!! If anyone wants it, email me at ****amber ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RE: VF Covered ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ << Anyhow, to the point. Last Saturday (the 21st) I was at a punk/ska show in Millburn, NJ. BIGWIG, arguably the best local punk band in NJ, played a punked-up cover of Kiss Off. >> personally i hate big wig even though most of my dorky friends like em :) but i gotta give em credit for covering the Femmes. -kara ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RE: Release Date ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > > According to New Rock 102.One, it's May 19. I haven't heard anyone > else confirming that, but they stand by it. > Is this a world wide release date or is it just in America? If this is just America when can the rest of the world get it, i.e Australia. Also if there is going to be a single when can we expect that to be released as well. Just curious :) Frank ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RE: Who Decides? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ << Is it true that VF don't have a set list of songs that they will play at concerts and Brian decides what they will play as the concert goes on? >> i believe they have put a setlist to memory....when i see the femmes in concert i usually catch three shows in 5 days and the setlists are usually the same with two or three changes....i hate that but i really don't care..burp... byebye!!!!!..leo koetke(sp??) will be playing in ellsworth maine this month...date???...he plays slide guitar in cold cold canyon...i think??? i should get the facts down before i submit stuff..oh welly well... byebye again -Pat. Says: Close. It's Kottke. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bad BITS on TV ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I haven't posted in a r-e-a-l long time- but i was watching that little box with pictures on it- better know as the TV and there is this new show called "2 guys/girl/pizza place" or somethin' like that. Well ya know how shows like Seinfeld have a little bass riff in between scenes-- On this new show the "scene break" music is clearly a bad rendition of BITS... I just thought this was kinda weird and was wondering if anybody has heard anything about it. I wonder if the Femmes know what the hell is goin' on with this bunk show. I'm going to the LOUISVILLE show on the 7th- and i'm searching for some yard flamingos to bring-- an old tradition so the boys will play the sweetest of sweeting songs. If anyone is going e-mail me and we can hook up- I'd love to make it to the INDY show but i ain't 21, so i'm shiza out of luck. Lates- ROB- -Pat. Says: You can contact ddearry and They'll be in Louisville. Cheryl mentioned that TV show a couple of weeks ago. Yes, it's very similar to BITS. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
