In addition, I spent quite awhile eradicating Internet Explorer and Outlook Express from my computer, and substituting with Netscape and DTSMail. Got sick of all those crashes. Then I had to manually import and export most of my files. ugh. Keep in mind this is a flight from D.C. so I put a lock on the case which ended up missing when I went to retrieve it. Funny, I've had the exact opposite experience... anyone else? I think Guy is VERY quiet and reserved... Gordon, on the other hand, has always been very friendly and chatty when I've talked to him... he's even asked *me* questions (about what I liked on Freak Magnet, etc.). Guy has walked away from me on occassion, and always seems to "disappear" after shows... anyone who was backstage at the Pabst show in Milwaukee on Halloween will agree with that. He always seems to find the person in the crowd who most appreciates his attention. Once, he came back in to where I was hanging out backstage to ask me if he had said goodbye to me. Awhile back AM was buzzing about the new Femmes song about Reggie White's inflammatory racist/homophobic comments. Everyone was debating whether it was a satire of Reggie's closed-mindedness or they actually agreed with him. Well, if you go to the page and go to the "Soundbytes" section you can download the entire Real Audio of the song and decide for yourself. It's called "Oh Reggie." If you ask me it's pretty obvious what side the Femmes would take on such comments, but I'll let the informed fanbase make their own call.
