Portland Show

A friend and I that are going to the show are making a couple of
“Mercy Seat” t-shirts for the show. We try to wear something unique to
every show we go to. I think these t-shirts are the furthest we’ve gone.
We’d buy Mercy Seat t-shirts but I haven’t found any.

Hey everybody the New Times Violent Femmes Club is going to have chat
sessions everynight at 9:30pm EST. The person running the club had
problems with her computer and couldn’t come on for awhile but now she

Yeah, I am so goddam tired of sitting in the yahoo club chat room
and talking to myself. I’m not much company. Plus then I realize when

Cameo Spot!!

I was thrilled to spot Gordan Gano’s name in the credit’s of The
Rugrats Movie (I have a four-year-old sister, okay?). Unfortunately, I
didn’t identify his voice during the song, but I do remember finding
something strikingly familiar about a couple of them. The song was
called ‘This World is Something New to Me’, sung by a bunch of newborns
in a hospital. Along with Gordan were Lenny Kravitz, Beck, Jakob Dylan,
Iggy Pop, and a bunch of others that I didn’t catch. I’m going to have
to wait until it comes out on video so I can rent it for my sister and
find out exactly what GG sang.

As a side note, in the most recent episode of Realms of Fantasy
magazine is a really cool vampire story told in the first person by a
Hollywood personality and vampire. The narrative begins: “My name is
Victor DeLorenzo…”
I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.

I ordered a bunch of VF merchandise off of their official website and I
am curious as to how long it takes. I know it says 4-6 weeks, but have
any of you had any personal experiences by ordering.. i mean, how long
did it take for your stuff to get to you? i know, im too anxious..

I was reading the mail from Nick on A.M. about the KROQ christmas
special list of bands thing and i saw Blink 182 on there. I love them.
besides the femmes they are probally my favorite band. I was wondering
what other bands you guys listen to. I want to enlarge my cd collection
but i don’t know what to buy. any suggestions? I like femmes kind of
music (what ever you want to call it) and I like punk. I like pretty
much everything but rap
