hey all. yeah i’m going to see the acoustic femnmes in milwaukee on
saturday! that is going to be very slick!

a friend of mine saw them acoustic in madison wisconsin on sunday, and
said it was “amazing”. he said they started at 745 with no warm up
bands, and played until 10, having an intermission and then an encore.
supposedly these are really special shows, whoevers going should tape
record it!!

yeah my friend’s mom got him back stage passes and he got his “violent
femmes ‘GOT MILK’ wisconsin tour” t-shirt signed.

Milwaukee Here I Come!!

Today I leave for Milwaukee. Wow I can’t believe it! This is going to
be the coolest thing that I have done since I was a newly fertilized egg
dividing over and over again.
I was watching tv the other night and I saw a commercial that gave me
another idea for the Femmes costumes. The Lollipop kids from the Wizard
of OZ. That would be so cute. As far a question to ask the Femmes
goes, ask them how one takes over the world with an Electrolux. (For all
of those who haven’t seen the Machine video, Gordon spends the video
carrying around a vacuum cleaner. It’s an Electrolux.) I think we have
the same vacuum cleaner somewhere and I wasn’t doing anything after I
got back so I figured I could take over the world and then the next
weekend learn French. Or maybe Italian, I hated French in junior high.
AAHHHHHH!!!! Sorry ignore that. I am off. (Off center)

I just wanted to let everyone know that I got my ticket to the
Violent Femmes concert in Orlando at the University Of Central
Florida. I can’t wait for November 11th!

i just called hunka bunka and hey said that the date for November the
9th has been changed to the 15th. i didn’t ask why, he seemed like he
was in a hurry. but nevertheless, he did say that if tickets were
already purchased for the 9th that they will be accepted. arrrggg. i
hate when this happens too. : oh well, i guess its better than having
it cancelled.

I have one question for the Femmes. Is there one part of the country
(Northeast, Southwest, Mid-West etc) or particular city that they
especially like playing in?
I’m kind of hoping that they say, “Oh yes, definitely Philadelphia.”

I have some questions, I have some questions!!!!!!!!

In “Sweet Misery Blues,” what is ‘drewery’? (can I buy you some
drewery or somethin, would you go out with me or somethin, etc.)

Any inside updates on shopping for a new record company?

Is Hitting the Ground an actual movie that anyone will ever get to see,
and will the soundtrack be released?

In “Never Tell,” is the opening line of ‘people standing like trees,
without a word,” a reference to Dante’s INFERNO, or am I way off base to
assume that?

Okay, you may not want to actually ask the guys my questions, but if you
do I would be eternally grateful.
