be free to me since the place I work at uses that a
lot too. I would prefer payment through paypal or
money orders. Checks are ok, but will have to wait
a week to clear. If you are willing to risk
sending cash, that is up to you and I won’t be

My roomate and I were just trying to clear our heads a little after
watching TV all day so we thumbed through the stack and decided to give
Hallowed Ground a spin on the table. Worked like a charm until it hit
me that I’d read somewhere that at least one of the guys… maybe all I
can’t remember… lives in New York. I checked the webpage but there’s
nothing on it so I guess there Ok? Don’t want to cause panic but I just
wondered. So many gone…peace out for the missing…

Thanks ever so much for copying and sending me the compilation tapes.
They arrived today and the hour or so I’ve viewed so far provided
welcome relief from the depressing flow of the last day and week. I
was immediately struck by how much the lads have aged from the early
days to recent concerts. The life Gordon and Brian have chosen is not
an easy one.

I greatly appreciate yours efforts on my behalf and for other Femmes
fanatics.

I keep noticing a lot that Rock!!!!! was released in
1998 or 1999. It was originally released in 1995. I
bought my copy in June 1995 in Germany when I was
there. I thought I would just let people know if they
didn’t know already. I think it was supposed to be a
short ep for the March/April 1995 tour downunder, but
it turned into an album instead that was released only
in Australia and New Zealand.

The Femmes have sold themselves again with Cingular Wireless using
their version of “Epp Opp Ork Ah Ah” from The Jetsons cartoon fame in
a commercial spot. I caught it over the weekend and just cracked up.
What a random song to choose.

It’s nice to see all the 30 something ad executives out there paying
tribute to the band by using their music to market products.

Hopefully the band is being compensated fairly.

Also, I emailed the bands website about a month ago to let them know
that we have been requesting the song on KROQ and to ask if the band
was going to play live anywhere before the end of the year.

I have not received a response.
