Just wanted to post this because I haven’t seen anything about it
here…
wondering if this is just floating around milwaukee or if others of
you have heard it as well??
there is a rumor going that the femmes broke up after their show at
summerfest last month. now, i don’t personally believe it, but i’ve
heard it from so many of my friends – and then when i was talking to
Amber today, she mentioned it too… so i’m just wondering if anyone
knows where this came from or for sure that it’s not true.

some newspaper article. I’ve also heard one stemming from
a friend of a brother of….
Brian has stated many times that he will not leave the
band. I will take any rumor of the “breakup” of the
Violent Femmes with a grain of salt. According to the
Official site, the band is relaxing after long touring.
