i just wanted to let you know that i went to http://www.cajunhouse.com and the
violent femmes show has been canceled???? can it be the band really
isn’t getting along??? i pray that is not the case. please, if anyone
knows the band, let them know how much we love their work! wasn’t it
once said, “can’t we all just get along”.
oh, and while you’re at, tell the femmes to come to tampa bay or
orlando to play. i’ll foot the bill hotel bill for the band members!

Hey Pat, I’m sure others are going to send in this info as well, but
in checking the cajun house site, it appears that the Femmes have
cancelled. No other info was given.
A real bummer, considering I could have gone.

RE: Compilation

I contributed “No Let’s Start Over” London concert to the
compilation video, therefore I received one. Although I don’t think my
copy has the TV clips, (I’ll have to check) I think I had asked Deana
to just send concert footage since I had most of the TV clips. It’s
been a while since I’ve watched it, so I’ll check.
Anyway, I would be happy to help out. I live in Maine, so anyone
living in New England area let me know, & I will dub as many as I can.
whoever wants a copy of the compilation video needs to send a blank
video with a self addressed, stamped padded envelope. I’ve seen 3
dollar stamps before, I’m sure one of those would cover postage for a
video. This way I’m not accepting any money which makes me feel more
comfortable. Plus I’m short on free time as well (just like everyone
else 🙂 This way I can record the vid & stick it back in my mailbox.
Also, I think organizing a list of who wants one would help a lot!
How does this sound?..Everyone I send to must first pick two or three
people from the list of people that want a vid, & send them a copy
when they get their copy from me. I think picking who they will send to
will help people commit, & not forget 🙂 I think everyone could get one
this way. Although, that would be as far as it could go as far as a
tape tree due to generation loss. (It’s 6 hours in slp mode)

A list of people wanting the vid is a great idea. I’ll
start one up. However, I STILL need to hear from the
people who originally agreed to be distributers, and
who were sent 1st gen copies of this compilation.
