Yes, some old Violent Femmes fans are out here and do “receive” Pat’s
work! I enjoy reading the post but choose not to write anything. I was
distressed to hear a few weeks ago some “females” were complaining
about the band’s name. What a shame. I know the Femmes music has got
me through some mighty tough times in life. I end with Kiss off into
the air!!!!!

Like many other diehard Femmes fans, I am also concerned about the lack
of info and the seemingly chaotic course of events. But to ask if I
care. You bet I do! And real happy to see that there is some activity
and hoping that I can catch a show this summer at some point. I am
hoping that they come to the West Coast or are playing in the Midwest
this summer when I get there. Lets all hope that once the guys are
rested they feel like touring again. For now, I am sure happy to see
that they continue to play my favorite music.

Whoa dude… what is this? An email from American Music???? Two whole
emails this year – we’re on a roll now …
Hell yeah I care. I must say that. I’m as confused as wisconsinsane is
about what’s going on with the guys though but I do care. So… keep
buying tickets and going to shows and digging the music. What else can
we do? About that new MP3 album from emusic -at least that’s somethin
new… that 12 step song is too much man… hits a little close to
home maybe? But yeah… I know Gordon doesn’t always write in the first
person … yeah right and monkeys might fly outta my butt
