She loves a crowd, that’s what I hear.

Biloxi Info
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here’s the info for the Biloxi MS show on Sat May 23rd…
Gates open at 11am. It’s OUTSIDE (near the MS Coast Coliseum) and
GENERAL ADMISSION. (Ticketmaster’s page is a little fuzzy about these
details). Tix are $17.97. There are 9 bands scheduled – ONE stage.
2 locals – System Red & Everything – Caroline Spine, Garrison Star
The Toadies, Cowboy Mouth (okay, John are you happy now or what?!!??!)
Sister Hazel (yuck), Violent Femmes, and Better than Ezra.
Tickets are limited and they are expecting to sell out by the end of
this weekend. Remember it’s over Memorial Day weekend – which is the
only reason I’m getting to go! You can order tix via the internet or
call the local charge by phone # 228-385-2600. I’m picking up my sis
in Auburn and were headin’ down for some fun in the sun! If anyone else
would like to join our caravan e-mail me!
Jones Beach Info Needed
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is regarding the August 2 show at Jones Beach in NY

Can someone please tell me more about it, like who else is playing,
where and when I can get the tickets and if this show is definite and
any other information you may have about it. The Violent Femmes have
not been in NY in a long time and I was hoping to see them this summer.

thank you,
dana

RE: Poster Wanted
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I saw the post in the last issue, and the person was looking for some
internet sites that were in a back issue. Well after lots of
searching I think I found the post they were looking for. It was
posted Feburary 23. I hope this helps you out. There are lots of
good sites here, so it was a good post to look up.
ROCK in the US?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i was looking up Femmes stuff at CD Universe when i saw ROCK listed
twice- once under imports and once with the US releases- at two
different prices.
i was kinda intrigued because i thought ROCK was never released in the
US (the US version was about $1 more, btw), so i opened up the info on
both
those albums. Sure enough, it listed the import version as coming out
in 1995, and listed the label as “B”, whatever that means.
Then, the ‘US version’ was listed as being released on MSI on September
3, 1997.
It didn’t give any actual info about the albums, or any differences in
terms of tracks.
Does anyone know anything about ROCK being released in the US last year?

rob=)

-Pat. Says: I have also seen the US version available, and have wondered
about it. Any info would be appreciated.
