according to ticketmaster, the nyc show was postponed. It says the new
date is TBA, but then the showdate is listed at 0ct 25, so i think it
was postponed until then. Just a question though- why were they
postponed?

Just to let you know, I tried to order tickets to the show at
Hammerstein on Monday and found out that this show is listed as
postponed. It didn’t say cancelled, just postponed, but there was no
new date for the show. I found out the other 2 in the area were
cancelled too, as you guys all know. So, nope, none of them are gonna
happen at the moment. I’m wondering, does anyone have any clue why? I
was so excited to finally be able to go see them because I’ve missed
them every time they have come around for the past almost 4 years.
It’s either not an all ages show (i just turned 18) or it’s on a day
when i have plans that can’t be cancelled or I can’t find anyone to go
to the show with me. This time was perfect; no commitments, had a
friend to go with me, all ready to get my tickets….I actually
bragged that nothing could possibly go wrong this time. Ahhhh! It’s
starting to feel as if I’m just not meant to see my favorite band of
all time. Have no fear though, I will not give up hope. All of your
reviews of their shows have made me realize that it is an experience i
must have.

I was interested in the NY concert, but TIcketmaster has it listed for
October 25th, and not the February, what’s the deal?
Please help, really wanna see the femmes again

So I’ll be the first to admit that I do more than my fair share of
bitching and moaning about the amount of time the Femmes spend touring
in Europe. Now I find myself angry that the Femmes coudn’t either
postpone their tour or extend their European tour so that I can see
them while I’m in germany this summer. Watch the Femmes play here
while I’m in Germany, wouldn’t that be something?

I just heard on the radio show Modern Rock Live, that the Femmes will
be on there in the coming weeks. So i guess they’ll mention sometime
in the future when they will be on. So that’ll be cool.
