I could not believe that these people would disrespect the band this much. All they wanted to do was mosh and crowd surf. all the time. i remember a couple times i saw the femmes and the crowd
starting getting very upset when they only play instruments for a long
time during black girls. once i was at a femmes show that was seated,
everyone was standing up but after the femmes had been playing their
instruments for awhile they all got huffy and sat down…i felt that was
kind of annoying.

eyes are very cool…i have solar eclipses in mine or atleast that’s
what my friends say. i was christmas shopping and i saw some leggo
candy, but i did not buy it for some reason, you should eat it that
stuff is good. i lost my half of a penny awhile ago i am very distraught
about it.

As a response to the listing of solo recordings from the Dec. 4 issue…
Guy also sometimes plays with a band I know nothing about, The Us
Project (It may be US Project, I don’t know)…
I don’t know if he’s done any recording with this group, but I’ve seen
him play live with them. Maybe it’s something to check into..?

i have a question, i’d love for the femmes to come play near me, but it
seems that they’re only playing places that are miles away. if i wanted
them to play somewhere arould albany and i contacted that monterey
peninsula artists, would i have to front the money or something for them
to play the gig, or is it just a suggestion box where i can request a
place for a show to be played??

-Pat. Says: Only people who are prepared to pay for a show should call
Monterey Peninsula Artists. The Violent Femmes only play
at venues to which they have been invited. If you want them
to play the Albany area, you need to find a venue which is
willing to book them.

hey guys,
I’ve only gotten to see the femmes play once, but i’ve been a fan since
1985. I hope that they come to texas again sometime soon! I got a promo
copy of the new CD (yeah! collectors item!) and i’m wondering if anyone
has heard anything about the actual release since they parted company
with interscope records…… i’m glad that there is a website like
this one for femmenites……..
